My cousin Janae Oldham owns this with her husband Steve.

Steve is really the brains behind all of this. He has just opened his 4th one. They have plans to expand at about 3 restaurants per year.

We ate at the restaurant in Boise Idaho. Man the food is good. For $19.95 it is all you can eat.

You have a really good salad bar, and then they bring you about 17 different kinds of meat on a skewer.

We tried about 5 different drinks and several deserts also.

The ambience was also very nice.

I more than highly recommend this place to eat. We ate until we were stuffed and everyone left talking about it for hours.

Sizzler

All though this is a national chain, I haven't been overly impressed with the Sizzler in Idaho Falls.

I have been there more than once where the silver ware was dirty. I have ordered their all you can eat shrimp special, and have really had a hard time getting anyone to even bring me the shrimp.

I have also had problems trying to get refills.

The food itself is not bad, but I have never been impressed with the service or their ability to give you all you can eat.

I have jokingly called the all you can eat special "The all you can beg for shrimp" because every time I have ordered this, I just get tired of waiting and leave before I really get my fill of shrimp.

Sol Rio Mexican Restaurant

We went and ate here with my wife's family and I think everyone enjoyed their meal.

They bring out chips and salsa, and the restaurant is authentically decorated. They have a tortilla making machine when you walk in the door.

I ordered this deluxe burrito with Pork, and the plate was huge.

Everyone else was impressed with what you got for the money and several of my wife's family got boxes to go because they couldn't finish it.

Very affordable and good food.

I highly recommend it.

Texas Roadhouse

Tonight I ate at the Texas Roadhouse. I had the polled pork, bake potato, salad, yummy scone bread, and peanuts.

This is located at 2535 S 25th E Ammon, ID 83406(208) 542-9988.

If you eat between 4 and 6 currently you can get two meals for $16 which is a great deal.

They of course serve steak, shrimp, chicken, and just about anything you would want.

I passed on the desert since I was stuffed.

While you are in town looking at the Idaho Falls Idaho real estate market, make sure you eat at the Texas Roadhouse.

Bajios Mexican Grill

My builder and I were meeting with some clients who wanted to build a home. He suggested we eat at Bajio's. I had the shrimp tacos which were outstanding.

I wrote up the paperwork for them to purchase the lot, and he told them about building a custom home.

I did a subdivision in Rigby where I came to know over 50 builders. I seriously would only recommend two out of the whole group.

Most people like to buy homes straight from the market, but occasionally you search and search and can't find the home you are looking for. At that point, I would recommend you find where you want to live. I can write up the lot and hook you up with a custom builder, or I have another guy who has about 40 different floor plans. He has priced down to the penny, and you can have a million different options on them.

Bubba's Bar-B-Que

Tonight I ate at Bubba's Bar-B-Que. It is the best place to eat ribs in Idaho Falls--period. I had the ribs, pork roast, and beef meal.

They bring out great buttered toast. Also, with this meal, you can pick two sides of your choice.

There are a few other restaurants in town that serve ribs, but Bubba's beats them all--hands down.

The other thing that amazed me, was that the menu item I ordered was only around $11. The portions are generous, and I actually had to get a doggy bag to take home becuase I was so full.

If you come to S.E. Idaho, don't forget to eat at Bubba's.

I love their pick three menu. They have all kinds of great food. Many of my clients will stay in a hotel on the river and then eat at Applebee's.

There are quite a few really good restaurants right in this same area and lots of lodging.

This is one of my favorite sitdown restaurants of all time. I like them because the food is excellent.

You can pick a wide arrange of foods. I really like their chicken tacos. Their fajitas aren't bad either. I also like their mini-burgers.

I usually don't order desert, but they have this really good desert with carmel-covered ice cream over a brownie.

We finally got an Olive Garden in Idaho Falls. We heard we were going to get one for probably fifteen years.

It is right off of Broadway in Idaho Falls, next to Wendy's and Walmart.

I have been there several times and the service is excellent.

Their salads and breads are awesome!

If you are a pasta lover, this is a must.
